Discrete-event simulation model for the operation of ground metro stations in Ho Chi Minh city (case study: Thao Dien station)
Abstract
This study presents a discrete-event simulation model of a ground-level station on Metro Line No. 1 Ben Thanh – Suoi Tien (using Thao Dien station as a case study). Experiments and analysis of the station’s operational organization were conducted based on the classification of Level of Service (LOS) and key performance indicators. The study also provides recommendations for further development of simulation modeling applications in the organization of Vietnam’s metro systems.
