Development of road transport infrastructure as a factor in enhancing the quality of transport services

Abstract

This article presents a study on the functioning of a transportation system using simulation modeling tools. A set of measures aimed at developing the passenger transport and logistics system is formulated through discrete-event simulation modeling. An analysis of the transport and logistics infrastructure of the “Dmitrov” railway station complex is provided. Experiments are conducted using the developed model to assess the effectiveness and outcomes of the proposed measures.
