The use of platform ecosystems for the organization of freight transportation

Abstract

Еxternal factors require logistics to search for new solutions to optimize the transportation process and reduce the cost of services. In the era of digitalization, platform ecosystems can help companies reduce costs and optimize core business processes in the field of transport logistics. The article discusses the concepts of platform and ecosystem, types of ecosystems. Using the example of the transport and logistics industry, platform ecosystems operating in the market are shown. An analysis has been made of the effectiveness of using ecosystems for ordering transport services.
